Class Projects
The first project we will do in this class is a project called "My South". The project will be a collection of pictures that reflect the heritage and culture of the South as seen through the eyes of a child.
Students will be asked to take 10 pictures depicting the South that they know. Examples may include: a grandfather's barn, your favorite fishing spot, a bike, watermelon, etc. Every student will have different photos to share because every student has unique things that make the South special to them. The students will attach the picture to a sheet of paper and write a short paragraph describing what is in the picture and why it represents their "South'. The project will be due on November 10th.
Students are encouraged to have fun and take pride in this keepsake project!
